March 15, 2011 Board Meeting Agenda Item #11 Title APPROVAL OF QUIT CLAIM DEED FOR 35TH STREET PARCEL Description The rebuild of Booker High School included the rerouting of Orange Avenue, which required a series of street vacations, transfers of properties, and vacations of easements.  This quit claim deed transfers ownership of the vacated portion of 35th Street from the School District to Clara Williams.  The transfer of this property to Clara Williams was authorized in a contract approved by the School Board on May 18, 2010. Recommendation That the School Board approve the quit claim deed for the vacated portion of 35th Street to Clara Williams, as presented in the attachment.
